HB 1542, authored by State Rep Anthony Moore and passed in November, allows restaurants and public school district cafeterias to donate food without fear of being held liable. The bill was written to help combat the high food insecurity rates facing Oklahomans. CPS partnered with the Clinton Mission House and has been donating unused or perishable foods since November.
