The Western Oklahoma Choral Directors Association Honor Choir will take the stage Monday, October 27, at 6:00pm at the Elk City Pioneer Center, located at Elk City High School.

Earlier this fall, vocalists auditioned and earned their spots in the prestigious WOCDA Honor Choir. The concert will showcase talented singers from the Clinton Middle School and Clinton High School Choirs.

We wanted to share information about a situation at our CMS location this morning. All students and staff are safe.

This morning, due to an HVAC malfunction, the district emergency system was activated by our staff, and emergency responders were quickly on-site. All children and staff exited safely. After reviewing the situation, the fire department allowed us to return to the building, and we will complete our day.

Nothing is more important to Clinton Public Schools than the safety of our students and staff. We work on an ongoing basis with local emergency officials to ensure we are ready for emergency situations. We are grateful to the Clinton Fire Department for helping us today to ensure we were safe. We also want to thank our students and staff for being calm and cooperative.

It’s almost parade time Red Tornado fans! 🌪️🎉

The 2025 Homecoming Parade will roll through downtown Clinton on Friday, October 31, starting at 3:30pm. Line-up begins at 2:45pm at 10th & Frisco.

Businesses, student groups, and community organizations are invited to take part! To enter, complete the parade entry form and turn it in to the CHS attendance office or the Clinton Chamber of Commerce by Tuesday, October 28.

Last week, we celebrated National School Lunch Week early, and what a fun week it was! 🍎✨

With the theme “Around the World: Find Your Passport!” students enjoyed delicious meals inspired by cuisines from across the globe. At Southwest Elementary, Board of Education President Kim Meacham joined in the fun by serving lunch to students, and the CHS Band brought extra excitement as they performed at each of our elementary sites! 🎶🌍
