My name is April Aston. I am a fourth grade teacher and this will be my 9th year at Southwest. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and  my Master’s Degree in Administration.

 I have three girls Alexia, Brooklyn and Cadence. We live in Clinton. My oldest daughter is Alexia; she is 17 years old and is a Senior at CHS. She is the keeper for High School soccer. My middle daughter Brooklyn is 10. She will be a 5^th grader this year. She is very competitive and loves basketball. My youngest daughter is Cadence. She is 4 and she is a ball of fire. She will be starting PreK this year! My family is important to me and I love watching them in whatever they do. We attend First Baptist Church here in Clinton and try to be as involved as we can in anything our church does.

I love teaching fourth grade! My students are important to me and I have hight expectations for each one of them. I'm excited for this new year and all the exciting things we will be doing!
