About Me

Hello,

My name is Dana Dupree. I was raised in a small town called Omega and attended Lomega Public Schools. Upon graduation, I attended SWOSU where I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. As I complete my 9th year of my teaching career and my 7th year of teaching at Clinton Public Schools I am proud to be called an educator. While at Clinton, I have been given an extensive amount of technology that has allowed me to greatly impact the future of the students that have walked through my door.

I have a son named Tristen. He was born the day after Christmas in 2012 and he is the best Christmas gift that I have received. Some of my favorite parts of having Tristen are helping him learn the game of baseball, chasing him around the walking track while he drives his gator, drawing, and reading books together. Some of his favorite books are anything that has to do with dinosaurs.

To me teaching is so much fun and enjoyable especially when I get to watch students grow as they prepare themselves for the future.  I continue to push each student to their fullest potential and set their goals high knowing they are all very capable of doing anything as long as they set their mind to it. One of my most memorable moment was when my class was chosen to go to decorate a Christmas tree at the State Capitol.
