About Stephanie Hime

Hello, my name is Stephanie Hime, thanks for visiting my webpage!

This is my seventh year as a Clinton Red Tornado,  and my 25th year to work in public education. I have taught Pre-K and High School (and everything in between!).  I have been a classroom teacher, Ell instructor, technology intergrationist, assistant principal, cheerleading coach, test coordinator, Teacher of the Year, and honored as the Northwest Region K20 SKIE Finalist. This year I will be taking on a new role, Director of Elementary Curriculum & Instruction.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree from SEOSU and a Master Degree in Education Administration from SWOSU. I am certified in Oklahoma and Texas to teach Early Childhood, K-8 Elementary, Middle School Social Studies, and Elementary Principal.

I have been married to Kevin for  32 years.  We have three children; Erika, Bailey, and Brock. Erika  is an Attorney and is married to Nick who is a Corporate Recruiter, they live in Austin, Tx. They have our youngest little grand, Walker.  Bailey owns a clothing boutique, The Southern Bend, and is married to Brady, a Rancher and an Insurance Agent. They have two sons, Jason, who is four and Cale who is one.  Our son Brock is a high school cross country and track coach as well as an adjunct professor. He recently married Regan who is in her senior year  at the University of Arkansas where she runs cross country and track.

My Educational Philosophy

I will work to  maintain an environment within our school where each student receives a quality education through a shared vision with teachers, staff,  students, parents, and  community members. Every activity, lesson, and event that I am involved in will revolve around what is best for our students.  I will strive to inspire and motivate students to reach a higher standard of excellence while collaboratively setting goals and implementing plans that will enhance the  learning experience. I believe teachers should be facilitators, not dictators. Students will constantly be challenged through various activites that promote everyday growth.

I am excited about the 2017-2018 school year!

I think great things are ahead for Clinton Public Schools!
