I am a graduate of Clinton High School.  I am also a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education anda Master's degree in School Psychometry.  This school year is my 40th year teaching in the Clinton Public Schools.  I taught 29 years in third grade before changing to reading coach eleven years ago. It is a special joy to me to get to teach second generation students of mine from earlier years.

I am married with two grown children and four grandchildren.  My favorite things outside of the classroom are family, church, gardening, baking, and piano.
